Some books that I am loving right now and some that I keep coming back to.
Remodelista by Julie Carlson
If your color palette consists of white, black, wood and....plants, then you'll love this book. I'm mostly kidding, there is color here and there throughout. But I love this book. Modern shaker meets swedish farmhouse, it is definitely my favorite right now. Exactly what I have come to expect from Remodelista, beautiful home tours, high-low product sourcing and a few good stories too.
Decorate by Holly Becker and Joanna Copestick
Holly Becker's blog Decor 8 was the first design blog I followed. I worked in an office at the time and clicked refresh every break-time and poured over the photos and posts she wrote.
She's since moved to Germany (Traitor. Just kidding Holly! Love you!) I've had her book for a few years now and continue to come back to it, because it rocks.
The Things That Matter by Nate Berkus
Who doesn't love Nate Berkus? If you raise your hand...then I'm sorry but I'm not sure we can be friends anymore.
Brian gave me this book for Christmas in 2012 just after it came out. To say that I loved it is an understatement. I already appreciate what Nate Berkus has to say about design, but he told such great stories that encourage us to have a home that reflects who we are.
