Eric Meyer started a skateboard company called Vision Street Wear and then later Simple Shoes. He's local to my hometown San Luis Obispo and has a home that I've driven by many times admiring from the street. Before sitting down he gave me a tour of the home that and his wife Cynthia share and I was amazed by the thoughtful design of it. He loves architecture, and it shows in houses that he has renovated in his neighborhood.
We talked about the start of his companies, what led him to sell Simple Shoes, renovating homes in his neighborhood and his thoughts on sustainability.
